Reads a sidecar, bounded, and never fatally.
Invalid UTF-8 is replaced rather than refused. A .lrc written on a Windows
machine in 2003 is Latin-1 as often as not, and refusing to show a song
because of one accent would be the wrong trade. Reads at most 256 KiB;
expanded line text stays within 1 MiB, including after lossy decoding.
