One label, as /ws/2/label/{mbid}?fmt=json returns it.
A lookup, asked only once an identifier is already known — see
crate::sources::ReleaseFacts::label_mbid and the fetch --labels
module doc for where that comes from: a release this catalog looked up
sometimes already names its label’s own identifier, and a lookup then
turns that into a certainty instead of guessing by name all over again.
No tag ever carries it directly, so unlike artist this is never asked
with a value read out of the files.
