Struct Limits

Source
pub struct Limits {
    pub max_bytes: usize,
    pub max_frames: usize,
}
Expand description

How much of a file the walk is allowed to read.

The structural walk and optional single-frame precision confirmation must stay bounded over a large library. Padding is a property of the whole file; the quick result describes only the frames examined.

Fields§

§max_bytes: usize

Bytes of encoded audio to read at most.

§max_frames: usize

Frames to walk at most.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Limits

Source

pub fn quick() -> Limits

Enough to answer confidently while staying cheap over a whole library: 512 frames is roughly 47 seconds of CD-quality audio.

Source

pub fn thorough() -> Limits

Reads the file to its end. For inspecting one file on demand.
