Find a radio station
Radio queries Radio Browser independently of an Aède connection. Choose a country with the globe and explore its stations. The globe’s circular arrow recentres the suggested home country; results depend on station-published information.
Click a station to listen. Dragging the dial pauses the station for the tuning sound; releasing starts the selected station. Favourites sit below the globe and belong to your account. Search and listening remain available without an account, without personal favourites. A listed stream can still be unavailable or incompatible.
Subscribe to a podcast
Add its RSS feed address, then Subscribe. A website or sharing link is not always an RSS feed. Choose an episode to play; listened episodes are distinguished. Download can retain an episode on the machine.
Subscriptions and listened state are private per account on this device and included in the selected account’s Phémios backup. Unsubscribing asks for confirmation.
Pause also applies while the episode is preparing, before sound starts. Resume explicitly restarts preparation if the player had not yet created its audio source.
Play a CD or image
Audio CD works without an Aède server and without recording its use per account. Connect a drive, insert an audio CD and select it. Controls remain unavailable without recognized hardware. Eject is disabled while playing that disc.
Open image accepts a CUE with BIN, WAV or FLAC. APE additionally requires installed FFmpeg/FFprobe. This does not rip or modify a disc. Supervised accounts retain listening restrictions.
Find a concert
Concerts requests available dates for artists through JamBase. Enter your key in Settings → External sources. The local cap limits free requests; an empty result does not prove that an artist never performs. Provider terms and limits apply.
