The signup form requests your email address so that Aède’s maintainer can send project news and the announcement of a future Kickstarter launch. Clicking Sign me up is your request to receive these messages. There is no checkbox and no unrelated subscription.
What is sent and who receives it#
The form sends your email address, the selected language and your signup request to Aède’s maintainer. It uses FormSubmit to deliver the request by email. The request therefore passes through FormSubmit and the recipient’s email provider.
FormSubmit may show an anti-spam verification before accepting the form. Its documentation states that submission archives are kept for 30 days. See the provider’s privacy policy and form documentation.
What you receive#
You may receive Aède development news and information about the future Kickstarter launch, at most one email per month. Your address is used only for these messages; it is not sold or used for unrelated advertising.
The maintainer manages the list manually. Your address is kept while you wish to receive updates. Every message must identify Aède and give you a way to unsubscribe by replying. An unsubscribe request removes your address from the active list.
Change your mind or ask about your data#
Reply to an Aède update, or use the contact page, to unsubscribe, correct your address, request deletion or ask what information is held about you. The contact page is hosted by FormSubmit. Requests can be made without creating an account.
Browsing the website#
This website does not add advertising trackers or visitor analytics. Your browser stores your language preference and documentation menu position locally so that the site remembers them during navigation. You can clear these preferences through your browser’s site-data controls.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Hosting providers and the form provider may process connection information under their own policies; GitHub’s privacy statement applies to hosting.
